Working on stuff, I’ll post soon.  Just haven’t had much happening to say.

Ok not really…

But I have been working on a flight to get Lucy to Spokane next week.  We’ll just leave it at today I hate Delta’s outsourced cargo service… they tried to tell me that Delta doesn’t take COD for live animals.  When I told her she was wrong she said (in broken english) that Spokane doesn’t accept COD.  Going off of her script was not good for her.  We will just leave it at we won’t try to COD as I had a massive headache and limited time.

Lucy will be living with our good friends Keith and Jo Campbell, along with Clem, Caleb and Iris, right next door to Cenny.  I wonder if he regrets the day he was assigned to mentor me 2 years ago…

I’m SOOO excited to be going camping with Megan and Ari this weekend.  I need a real break away from the work and personal issue.  Getting to watch lots of horse stuff is a bonus.  I’ve done lots of soul searching this last month and have decided one of the things I miss and want back is a horse.

That makes the 4th champion from the Alice/TM litter and Alice’s 6th Champion overall (well 7th if you count Libby’s Canadian title).

Molly picked up 2 more points this weekend too. I skipped the show (8 hours away) as I’m going to the horse thing next weekend, but am very glad to get reports

I’m sure mom will post it too….but the good news, for people who follow it…is that Phoebe is DM clear. We tested her because Wally is a carrier, even though her final litter is by Chase, who is DM clear. Less worries for those with her 5 and 3 year old puppies…

I got an iphone. I love it. Who needs a man when you have an iphone.

Got several boxes packed and I feel wonderful. Saw Harry Potter and felt less so, just wasn’t exciting.

Wally and I are home. It’s so calm here without Pilot and Iris. Of course Hannah is always good but she loves visiting her auntie Megan. And I need them out from underfoot while I sort and pack and send things to Goodwill. Depending on if I can get a transfer at work I’d like to move in a month or so, but the house needs a lot of work. I’ve been here 5 years and its amazing how much stuff I have accumulated.

Rode Megan’s horse for about 10 minutes this morning. Nice little horse. I’ll do that again Would have loved to stay longer but have to work tomorrow.

Gorge was 106-107 degrees most of the way. Tri-Cities about 100. Calm and cool at 95 here (ugh). I have my room air going with a couple fans but Henry never installed the big one in the front of the house and I can’t get it in myself so hopefully the heat will break. At least it’s not humid here.

For all who asked I am doing fairly well actually. I guess that says something about how stressful and unhappy the situation had gotten. Refocusing my life will be good for me and I’m trying to look forward to it.

Sometimes it’s hard to remember that nobody has to love my dog but me. Even after 20 years in Corgis, I still have a thin skin to hear about people who say things bad about me OR my dogs, or simply don’t like my dogs.

Recently I heard of someone who, instead of asking me directly about Hannah’s hips, decided just to whisper things at a dog show. Someone who I’ve considered a friend. Well, if she wants to know, she can ASK. Btw, Hannah has been Pennhip scored and while they are not super, they are by far not the worst hips. I do plan to OFA her too next time I can mail her to mom.
And if you don’t like Pie, that’s fine, you are Free to Disagree. lol. I know he’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but he’s possibly the sweetest, happiest and friendliest dog I’ve ever owned.

This whole rumor thing has me somewhat down in the dumps and has for a couple of weeks. I’ll probably be fine by the next show (Richland?) but right now need this break. And I won’t really have anything competitive for awhile. Pie needs to grow up a lot (especially mentally), Iris…who knows…Hannah is a brat and retired from showing now that she’s finished…Wally has never been my show dog.

Ok that was my mini rant/test of Wordpress…

I am dead tired.

Serious – the neighbors partied last night. I think they are still at it. I always have insomnia problems, and last night went to sleep around 12:30, got up at 4. Ugh.

Just got home at 7:30ish. P.M.. Denise’s Berner girl got a 5 point major and best puppy in breed, then won a large working group puppy….then BIS puppy – very nice puppies too including over a Golden that won at the specialty today. Big Grats Denise, Lexus earned it.

As for us it was a supported entry today. The smallest one that I have been too for our club – our typical Richland and Albany have more entries than some specialties.

I am happy to say Pie was BOW for 2 points, leaving 1 to go. We are at the jinx point. His tail was still somewhat happy (and he was convinced that everyone on the ground wants to help him…um….breed, thanks for the AI) but the tongue was in.

Clem was RWB today. She needs to grow up for a bit, both she and Pie actually have the 19 month uggs.
